Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) Failures: Is It the Seed or the Soil?

Over the past few years, fertility treatments have made huge strides. Many couples are now able to have babies using these methods. However, some couples still struggle to get pregnant even after trying these treatments multiple times. There are different reasons why this might happen, including problems with the lining of the uterus or the embryo itself. To better understand this, we studied cases where the embryo was healthy and other factors were controlled. Our research suggests that it’s very uncommon for couples to have repeated failed fertility treatments. Less than 5% of couples experience this.
