FCC is now seeking 1 highly-qualified candidate for the position below:

Position: Pharmacist
Department/Function: Medical Function
Location: Phnom Penh
Working Hour: Full-time

JOB DESCRIPTION

  1. Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely
  2. Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, including dosage, side effects, and potential interactions with other medications
  3. Provide information to patients about their medications, including the purpose of the medication, how to take it, and what to expect
  4. Monitor patients’ drug therapies to ensure that they are taking the medications as prescribed and that they are not experiencing any adverse effects
  5. Perform quality control testing on medications
  6. Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed
  7. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in pharmacy and medicine

JOB QUALIFICATION

  1. Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology
  2. Some experience in a related field
  3. Good organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail
  4. Strong commitment to providing safe, effective and patient-centered care
  5. Ability to address sensitive and emotional situations with empathy and professionalism.
  6. Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
  7. A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Able to use a computer
